Unlocking sustainable access to capital for women entrepreneurs

Pamoja builds structured pathways from assets to income to creditworthiness, transforming informal businesses into investable enterprises across Uganda.

The Problem

Women entrepreneurs are excluded from capital

Women entrepreneurs do not lack ambition. They lack structured pathways to capital. Traditional finance asks for proof before lending—collateral, credit history, formal operations. Most women entrepreneurs cannot provide that proof.

The financing gap is not a demand problem. It is a systems design problem. Pamoja builds the ecosystem that turns informal businesses into investable enterprises through our pathway: Assets → Income → Data → Creditworthiness → Capital.
